INSTRUCTIONS TO THE AUTHORS
The JOURNAL OF FRONTLINE RESEARCH IN ARTS AND SCIENCE (ISSN: 22499903) is devoted to publication of Research Papers (Significant original research results of important works), Review Articles (Survey and discussion of current developments) and Research Updates (Information to non-specialists about recent advances or important findings) dealing with the Science subjects: Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Zoology and Botany and Arts subjects: English, Assamese, Economics, Political Science, Education, History, Philosophy and Library Science. Submission of a Research Paper, Review Article and Research Update to this journal implies that it has not been published previously and is not under communication for publication elsewhere, and if accepted by the Editorial Board of the JOURNAL OF FRONTLINE RESEARCH IN ARTS AND SCIENCE and published thereafter, it will not be published elsewhere.
Manuscript submission: Authors interested to submit papers to the Journal should Emailtheir manuscripts typed in English (Times New Roman) and for Assamese literature subjects typed in Assamese (Ramdhenu), font size 12 in MS-word format, with double spacing and ample margins on all four sides to edjfr2021@gmail.com.
- 1. Title: Should be informative, brief and typed in bold, font size 14, upper case letters and centred.
- 2. Author’s Name: Should be in bold, upper case letter, font size 10, and followed by author’s full address. Corresponding author should highlight using asterisk (*) with valid E-mail ID.
- 3. Abstract: An abstract of not more than 250 words should be given at the beginning of the paper.
- 4. Key Words: The abstract of the paper should be followed by Five Key Words in italics.
- 5. Text: The text should be written in the following headings –
- For Science Section:- INTRODUCTION, METHODOLOGY, RESULT & DISCUSSION and CONCLUSION. Headings should be written in BOLD UPPER CASE and Sub-headings in Bold Lower case, next sub-headings in Bold Lower case Italics and next sub-headings in Lower case Italics.
- For Arts Section: - INTRODUCTION, OBJECTIVES, ANALYSIS and CONCLUSION. Headings and sub-headings will follow as the format mentioned in the Science section.
- 6. Notes and References: Notes and References in the text should be numbered and bold superscripted within third bracket, (e.g. [1], [2, 4], [2-9]) should be mentioned after

- 7. I. Tables and illustrations: Tables should be typed, together with their titles, on separatesheets. Column headings should be brief, with units of measurement in parenthesis. Verticalline should not be used to separate columns. Avoid presenting tables that are too large to beprinted across the page. Each table should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerical e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc. Illustrations and images should be pasted in separate sheet in MS- word document. Avoid using solid black in fills. Soft copy of the scanned images (in 300ppt resolution) or illustrations (uncompressed high resolution) should be submitted in PNG/JPEG/GIF/TIFF format. All figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerical. Legends should be typed together with the figures.
- II.Plagiarism: Since the journal has an ISSN, the authors are requested to avoid any chance of plagiarism otherwise the author himself/themselves will be solely responsible.
- III. Review: The Research Papers/Review Articles/Research Updates will be peer reviewed, and only after the recommendation of referee it will be considered for publication. The journal follow double blind peer review.
- IV.Processing fee: there is no article processing fee for publication in JFR for authors of Sibsagar College, Joysagar. However authors from other Colleges and institutions have to pay Rs. 1000/- (rupees one thousand only) to get the soft copy of article, printed Journal and certificate. Authors will be about the intimated payment process if their paper is selected for publication.
